General Check up and Cataract Camp September 2011

Five doctors consisting of a physician, a skin Specialists, a dentists, a General Practitioner and an eye specialist came to the the camp.

Vangan village is in the jungle in Gujarat and people are very poor, having no clothes to wear and no food to eat.

More than 508 peoples visited the camp of which 22 were dental patients, 57 patients of skin diseases, 106 patients with eye problems and 323 patients of general diseases.

The received free medicine as prescribed by the Doctors. 

About 45 patients need further treatment or operations for hernia, gynaecology problems, and other surgical problems.

A further 17 Cataract patients were found, some even having cataract in both eyes. The have been setup for further treament and the aim is to have all operations done by November.
